CROSS OVER 6/12/2011 (Sun) Korakuen Hall, Tokyo

Report from SportsNaviThis was a fight between two former members of Voodo Murders.  These former heels have changed persons and this is a chance to see their true fighting styles in action.

Rene comes to the ring dressed in a white T-shirt with the All Japan logo - a new fresh face image. However, Doring is wearing a leather jacket - clearly a little on the wild side!!
After the bell,  the two men shake hands to indicate a clean fight. Rene and Doring lock up , breaking away Rene charges but ends up outside the ring - the action moves ringside and Rene comes off badly in an encounrter between his shoulder and an iron railing. Doring opens the ropes to allow Rene back in the ring, reinforcing that its a clean fight. Rene takes the opportunity to pull Doring out of the ring for a brief encounter with some steel.
Five minutes in and Doring is on the mat and Rene beings into play the Diving Body Press and Elbow Drop (
Daibingubodipuresu and Daibinguerubodoroppu) off the top rope

But the advantage is shortlived - Doring responds with his trademark Revolution Bomb (Reboryushonbomu) and the match winds up with the win to Doring.

After the match, the two men sportingly shake hands .
Doring tells Sports Navi - "I feel good to be back in Japan. I think my wrestling ability is clear for all to see. Another helping anyone? My next goal is to be the champion of All Japan Pro Wrestling. The junior title is probably out of the questions as I have a little weight problem. (laughs).  Today is an anniversary for me. I first came to Japan j
ust four years ago, just around this time."
And what did he say to Rene as they shook hands after the match?
Dooling "There's a good chance of teaming up with Rene. There is a match next week at Sumo Hall that determines the next tag team champions."
